What is balayage?

 Balayage literally means "sweeping."  When done correctly,  a hair colorist takes a small section of hair and sweeps the color onto the top. Then a paddle is used to apply more color toward the bottom. This technique creates the effortless sun-kissed highlights everyone wants, especially during the summer months.
 Balayage is a smart solution for gray hair because it can specifically target gray strands without touching the scalp. And because you don't need to do a single process to cover just a few gray hairs, it's easier on your hair overall.

What is ombre color?

Ombre color is a hair color technique in which the roots and upper portion of the hair is colored a darker color while the tips and lower sections of the hair are colored with a lighter shade that gradually blends upward into the darker tones.   Another popular technique is "reverse ombre color" in which the upper sections of the hair are light and the lower sections and ends of the hair are colored with a darker color.
